DIY Farmhouse Buffalo Check Wreath {Dollar Store craft!}

Try making this festive Dollar Store Buffalo Check Wreath for the Christmas season this year. It’s simple and very budget friendly.

Materials needed:

18 inch grapevine wreath
Hot glue gun/ glue sticks
Scissors
Wire cutters
Buffalo check ornament picks (3)
Lamb’s ear picks (2)
Flat holly with berries picks (4)
Greenery picks (4) – there are a few different ones, I got some with snow whitish snow on them
Red and Black buffalo check bow (or buffalo ribbon to make a bow if you can’t find one)

Instructions

STEP ONE

Gather all your materials.

Start by attaching the bow to the wreath using the twist tie that is on the wreath.

You could also use some twine if you need more material to secure it to the wreath form. You can also add some glue to secure it to the grapevine pieces.

STEP TWO

Next using the wire cutters, cut off all of the greenery pieces (you will need to push them towards the top of the stem and then leave an inch or two of the stem before using the wire cutters to trim it.)

Cut the flat holly pieces, lamb’s ear, and buffalo check ornament pieces. I make sure to leave an inch of two so that I have piece to weave in between the grapevine pieces.

STEP THREE

To add the pieces to the wreath, add a line of hot glue to the stem of the pick and weave into the grapevine wreath.

I randomly placed the pick where I felt that it fit best and filled in the most. I started by adding the greenery picks first and then added the flat holly.
