How To Find Wallpaper That’s Affordable

They key thing that transforms a house into a home is its aesthetics.  After a long day at office, it’s not the bricks that make you feel at home, but the feeling of belonging that does the work. And that feeling of belonging comes from the interior design of the house, especially the walls.

This is why people spend a large amount of money on wallpaper.  Once they are in place, everything else complements it. Wallpapers give a room unique identity. Once the wallpapers are up, they won’t be taken down for a long time. So the decision of course has to be thought through.

But the catch here is that the wallpapers are not always pocket-friendly. The best ones can burn a massive hole in your pocket. And because most of the wallpapers are of removable and peel-and-stick type, spending exorbitantly on them is not always the best choice.

And so we bring to you the places where you can buy prettiest and inexpensive wallpapers for your home or room. Ready? Let’s dive in!

Where to Buy Removable Wallpaper

Amazon

Regardless of what you want to buy, your instinct should be to go to Amazon and check out. Amazon has a wholesale of wholesale sellers of everything, even wallpapers. From worst to the best quality, from inexpensive to expensive, whatever your pocket can afford, Amazon has it. So for wallpapers, Amazon starts its range from minimalistic and small peel-and-stick sample wallpapers that cost about $3 to murals that cost nearly $23,000.

Amazon does have some of the best designs you will see. The only drawback is, because it has a huge number of sellers, it’s extremely time-consuming to look for wallpapers on it.

But- we DID find some RoomMate’s rolls for less than $30 on Amazon (they’re $34.99 on RoomMate’s site.)

If you’re looking for affordable, start with Amazon. The images above are about $0.94 per square foot.

Urban Outfitters

Another online seller that is highly recommended for wallpapers is Urban Outfitters. Their peel and stick marble wallpapers are so good that when they’re pasted on the walls, it looks like the walls are actual marble.

Unfortunately, the price at Urban Outfitters is definitely NOT worth it. They only sell wallpaper in one size which is 8 feet per roll and it works out to almost $5 per square foot- yikes!

Beautiful but expensive.

Target

If you are looking for something like Amazon, but not as exhaustive, then you might want to take a look at Target.

What surprises most about Target is that they actually have some of the most magnificent wallpaper sellers.

The designs are exquisite.

Take this Brewster Peachy Keen wallpaper for example- it’s elegant in design and is not overwhelming.

Please click on any of the images to see the price at Target.

The best part is, Target has a plethora of wallpapers like this, and better.

The lowest priced options at Target work out to $0.80 per square foot- that’s a STEAL.

Graham & Brown

Graham & Brown have an insanely beautiful collection of peel and stick wallpaper-

however-

the price is… pricey.

Good news though!

You can find ridiculously good deals on wallpaper going out of stock.

Just look at these patterns- we’re drooling:

Graham & Brown’s lower priced wallpapers work out to about $1.60 per square foot.

Wayfair

Wayfair is such a great choice to find cheap removable wallpaper. They have a huge selection of patterns and prices.

There are high end choices and also choices that look high end but are totally affordable!

The price per square foot ranges from $0.94 to over $2.00.

The best thing about Wayfair is that they have a built in calculator for determining how much wallpaper you need- just plug in your height and width and Wayfair will calculate exactly what you need plus 10% for little mistakes.

Etsy

There are SO MANY beautiful choices on Etsy, it’s just ridiculous. The problem is that they’re NOWHERE even close to affordable. Feel free to take a look but beware- very expensive.

Wallpapers are a long-time investment. So please do not rush to make a purchase. Properly invest your time, consider your budget, and then make an informed decision. You won’t regret that!

If you need a handy dandy calculator to figure out square footage, this is what we used– it’s free!
